At 100-1000 assemblies, we would still normally use the Ito America ACF Applications Lab as the production site. The exception to this would be when this level of assembly is a final engineering run or pre-production run for final production that would be at a higher level. In that case it often — but not always — makes better sense to do the run on the line that will be used in actual production.

Products that fall into this category of production are often medical, avionics, or industrial applications that require a high level of active engineering support and involvement to ensure the proper quality and tracability for the finished item. Keeping this production at our Lab allows us to maintain the highest possible level of control.
