Technical details

The WorkstationPROFESSIONAL is a highly flexible protective housing developed by ACI Laser for a  wide-ranging application spectrum. The spaciously dimensioned working area is readily accessible and equipped with a large T-grooved plate. This provides a 600 mm x 600 mm clamping surface and is loadable with parts up to 100 kg in weight. A z-portal enables 400 mm z-axis travel of the laser – ideal prerequisites for large and heavy workpieces. A focus finder will help with quick setting-up of the correct z-position. This system is also the optimal solution for marking small parts. An x-axis and an optionally available y-table enlarge the marking field to a total size of 350 mm x 510 mm, enabling the marking of palletised parts in the WorkstationPROFESSIONAL in a single operation. The laser covers the entire machining area in one pass. The WorkstationPROFESSIONAL is a system solution in accordance with laser safety class 1 and otherwise requires no further safety devices. It is thus an attractive alternative to conventional marking technologies even for small companies.

Accessories

A comprehensive range of accessories enables many different kinds of marking tasks to be performed. The accessories include rotary axes for wraparound circumferential marking, foil handling systems with coiler and decoiler for foil label marking, type plate handling systems for automated marking of type plates plus an XL package for even more room for an adjustment. Furthermore, the WorkstationPROFESSIONAL can be adapted to individual requests as a special solution.

Fields of application

The WorkstationPROFESSIONAL can be combined will all types of ACI lasers. This makes it suited for machining a large range of materials, including metals, plastics, ceramics, foils, glass and organic materials. The system is typically used for large quantities or large and heavy components.

Software

The marking software MagicMark used with the WorkstationPROFESSIONAL enables the marking of texts, graphics, codes such as DataMatrix or barcodes, serial numbers, logos and wraparound circumferential marking on rotationally symmetrical workpieces. An intelligent rights management system enables the establishment of different operator groups, thus allowing customisation of the system to the user’s individual requirements. Even semiautomatic operation with independent data exchange to different data sources is possible without any problems. MagicMark is included in the scope of the laser delivery.
